Conference. International Design Conference. Explore design in various forms.

The idea behind the conference is to show design in many aspects: editorial design in print and web, visual identity, branding, mobile apps, video and animation, advertisement, fashion and architecture. We want to show the growing role of design in today's world. We want to illustrate the trends, challenges, chances and threats. We first of all want to get insipred.

16 speakers, including some international stars like: Mario Garcia, David Eriksson from North Kingdom, Patrick Waterhouse from Color magazine, Carlos Monteiro from famous newspaper 'i' plus some leading Polish designers.

Conference is divided into 3 blocks: Paper, Screen i Street.

Jacek Utko

Design director at Bonnier Business Press International, newspaper, magazine and web designer in Central Europe, Scandinavia and Russia. Received almost 50 awards in design competitions. Two newspapers he designed – Poland's Puls Biznesu and Estonia's Aripaev – were named World's Best Designed Newspapers. He was giving lectures in 26 countries, including TED conference in Long Beach in 2009.

Carlos Monteiro

Infographics Editor from Portugal's 'i' - the most innovative newspaper on the planet. It was established in 2009 and named World's Best Designed Newspaper in 2011. 'i' walks the line between newspaper and magazine with perfect balance. It's beautifully composed rhythm is consistent yet full of surprises. Carlos works there from the very beginning, before he gained experience in Bloomberg Businessweek and 24horas. His work was awarded in various infographics competitions. Marek Knap

Leading Polish editorial designer, art director at Edipresse Polska. He was an art director in Rzeczpospolitej, that was named World's Best Designed Newspaper in 2005. He designed Polish editions of such magazines as: Marie Claire, Maxim, Newsweek and already cult Polish magazines Machina and Foyer. He is a lecturer at Warsaw Academy of Art.

Edgar Bąk

One of the best young designers today. He is dealing with visual communication, visual identity, posters. He cooperates with Nowy Teatr in Warsaw, WAW magazine, recently designed Monitor magazine. He gives lectures on Informastion architecture and typography in School of Form in Poznan. Hereceived many awards: KTR (7 statues), STGU and Society of Publishing Designers in New York City. Patrick Waterhouse

Creative director in Colors magazine. Since 2006 he is working at artistic hub Fabrica in Italy, of Benetton group, where he published illustrated version of Dante's Inferno. His works were presented in such art galleries as: South African National Gallery, Goodman Gallery Cape, Art Basel, The Daimler Chrysler Collection and The Walther Collection. Mario Garcia

The best-known newspaper designer in the world. During 40 years he was cooperating with
around 700 publications in 106 countries. He designed The Wall Street Journal, The Miami Herald, Handelsblatt, Die Zeit, Paris Match and many more. Recently he speciaslizes in mobile apps, he designs newspaper editions for iPad. His e-book: 'iPad Design Lab: Storytelling in the Age of the Tablet', became number one book in design category. Web service for Polish Institute in Paris received silver award at European Design Awards. CEO an dcreative director of North Kingdom, fenomenal Swedish interactive agency. One of the most awarded agencies: 7 gold Cannes Cyber Lion, 1 black, 1 yellow pencil in D&AD, 6 Golds in One Show, 2 Grand Awards + 3 Gold NY Festivals, 2 Gold Clio Awards, 2 SOTY, 3 PCOTY FWA, 5 golds LIA. Michał Łojewski

Graphic designer, creative director in White Cat Studio. He created identities for biggest Polish brands. He made rebranding for Alior Banku, PKO Bank Polski, PZU and Netia. He received Red Dot Communication Design (2011) and European Design Awards (2012). His second passion is a conceptual brand UEG, that merges art, design and fashion. Architects Marcin Mostafa and Natalia Paszkowska are founders of WWAA studio, that won a competition for designing Polish pavillion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai. Iwo Zaniewski
Guru of Polish advertising, art director in PZL agency (Przybora. Zaniewski. Ltd.). Started as art director in Grey Warsaw. Created campaigns for Knorr, Frugo, Okocim, Radio Zet, Lucky Strike, Malma. In 1999 he started PZL agency with Kot Przybora. They produced campaigns for Frugo, Dębowe Mocne, Żubr, Redd's, Orlen, Tetley or Plus.

Piotr Rypson
Deputy Director in National Museum in Warsaw, art historian, curator, critic, writer. He was giving lectures in Rhode Island School of Design, and Miami Ad School. He was a main curator at CSW Zamek Ujazdowski, curating such artists as: Zbigniew Libera, Magdalena Abakanowicz, Jarosław Modzelewski, Dick Higgins, Andrzej Dłużniewski, Maria Jarema and others.

Agnieszka Cielecka-Jacobson
Program director in School of Form in Poznan. Journalist, critic and design curator. He started and was editor in chief of Polish edition of Elle Decoration. Curator of Łódź Design festival, author such exhibitions as: Polska Folk i Unpolished. She regularly writes for magazines: 2+3D, Architektura, Twój Styl, Polityka, Wprost, Wysokie Obcasy.

2. Price includes lectures, course materials, coffee breaks, lunch.

3. Fill in the on-line form at konferencje.pb.pl, is the conclusion of a binding agreement between the applicant and the Bonnier Business (Polska) Sp. z o.o.. Link to the pro forma invoice is sent automatically to the email address of the applicant after completing the application form.

4. Payments should be made within 14 days after sending the notification, but no later than 2 days before the Event.

6. In case of resignation no later than 21 days prior to the events, the organizer will charge you an administration fee of 20% of the participation price.

7. In case of resignation later than 21 days prior to the Event, 100% fee is charged.

8. Cancellation of participation shall be sent by registered mail to the address of the organizer.

9. In case of not cancelling the registration and not taking part in the Event, the organizer will charge the full cost of participation.

10. If one does not make the payment, it does not mean the resignation of the Event.

11. If the registered person can not come to the Event another person from his/her company can take his/her place.

12. The organizer reserves the right to change the program of event and to cancel the event.
